Ezhuvanthala is a small village in Nellaya Panchayat of Palakkad district in the state of Kerala in India. The main occupation of Ezhuvanthala is agriculture. It is well connected with public transport facilities. Hindus and Muslim community contributes a majority of the population. Christian community have very little presence in this village. The major festival in this area is Anjam vela .people belonging to all communities will participate in this festival.Ezhuvanthala is also famous for its nature beauty.major sceneries like mountains,paddy fields etc..puts Ezhuvanthala village a beautiful one.

Members of seven prominent families in ezhuvanthala were assigned to escort these rulers during their journey to this temple. Mooppath, Kurupanmar, Adukurussikalarikkal, Battithotti, Thotukatukar, Chitody achan, Karalapatta amman those were the families who used to escort the rulers.
